COASTAL SETTLEMENT

hey pals, i'm up early today. because of this HARDCORE drilling above my room. and its really driving me nuts.... its like hammering + drilling. i really dont get what's there to drill. FOR SO LONG. its been on since yesterday, and its driving my sister, dog and I crazy. we're all like trying to seek cover. this morning it got so bad that i had to put on my ear piece to use them as ear plugs because i wanted to use the bathroom. and apparently, there's drilling there too... urgh.... i really cant wait for this to stop. its ruining my mood

so anyway, two weeks back my family celebrated my dad's birthday. and we ate at the coastal settlement. and i really like that place. 9/10 for ambience, 8/10 for the food. and probably 3/10 for the location. LOL, i never knew the place was so deep inside. if you don't drive, you're probably gonna waste money on cabs.

so for starters, we ordered calamari, fried portobello mushroom, mushroom soup and clam chowder. and out of all, i would really recommend the fried portobello + their truffle mayo. and even tho i seriously hate mayo. their mayo was good. i couldnt take many pics tho. cus it was dark and the picture turned out blur.

and our tower of beer, haha

and the main courses!

i didn't really get to try the fish, but the steak was good. but if you're gonna order that, don't eat too much of the rosti. hahaha. and then we had dessert, which i would give a 10/10!!!! the brownie was so so so so so goood.

overall, the dinner was nice. but price wise was so-so. not that cheap. but not that exp either. i would recommend this place tho. it was ncie, and i would go back again :)
