2012

hey guys, feels like just yesterday that i was doing this post. okay i'm exaggerating. maybe felt like a month ago? how quick time seems to pass. and a new chapter beginning to open. 2013 is arriving so quickly i can't hardly wrap my head around it. omg... the more i think about it, the more i feel like.. WHAT?!

so anyway, i'm making it a point to do a blog post at the end of every year. just a summary of what has happened. but i must say, 2012 has been great for me. probably the greatest year i've ever had so far. i think the number of times i cried cus i was feeling sad was less than 10. and that must be a record... so anyway, i've also prepared a short vlog at the end of the video! hope you guys like this post :3

so... lets see... Jan 2012, i remember clearly that i started it off with my boyfriend... hehe watching the fireworks by marina bay. and recently i just told him something funny. because at that point of time, we weren't together yet, when the fireworks started booming and all. i really really thought he was gonna ask me to be his girlfriend. LOL and after the fireworks finished and he didn't ask me, i was damn sad. LOLLLLLL HAHAHAHAHA. expect too much. but anyway, yeap. thats how my year started

and then.. the highlight of my year which i remember damn clearly too. we celebrated his birthday and then he asked me to be his girlfriend. and then i tweeted "this is the best year ever". and his friend replied "but its only the beginning." BUT TRUE ENOUGH, THIS WAS THE BEST YEAR EVER!!!!!

and then followed by the best valentines day i've ever had. because all my past valentines were all like.. screwed up dates. always ended up unhappy or in tears. but thank you b for everything :*

this year i also went overseas on my own for the first time. and of course with my boyfriend :)

enough of my boyfriend for now! this year TLX also became more established. and this is where all my readers/ supporters/ shoppers come in. i just wanna thank you all for helping me live a better life this year. without you guys, i wouldn't have been able to do so many things.

this year i also changed my hair quite a few times.. let's all have a look!

from loooong healthy hair. to short

from black to brown

from dark brown to a messed up ombre hairstyle

to ombre hair 100% fixed

to a brown outer layer with blonde highlights inside

and yes i know.. i've neglected my friends alot this year. but lucky for me, my boyfriend goes to where my best friend stays every week and i get to hang out with her at her place. and we studied together, we also talked alot. we also did the best friend tag!

and speaking of tags, i also did the make up tag with my boyfriend which everyone liked. because... he.. destroyed my blusher while filming.. and my reaction was pretty priceless. i still laugh at my face when i watch that part of the video. heh (it happened at 05:57 mins btw)

also another highlight of this year was that i turned 18!!!!!! LIKE FINALLY OKAY????? after so many years of waiting. i'm finally a legal shit

since this year was so peaceful, i really have nothing much to talk about. but i've got a =confessions to make, and i'm apologizing for all of this

 "sometimes when i say i'm too busy to blog, it actually means i've got nothing to blog about/ i'm too lazy. LOL SORRY GUYS.. truth's out.. i'm the laziest person on earth. but sometimes i really don't have time la. not all the time i say busy means i'm lying."

Mom & Dad: thank you for always being here for me and helping me out with posting my items when i'm sick or busy. and always checking up on my shop's status, being so caring. i love you guys!! (i know you read my blog)

Sister: thank you for accompanying me to all my photoshoots, tolerating my rubbish and putting time aside for me. thanks for downloading sims too. now i'm addicted. ASS!!

Marvin: thank you b for always giving me the extra push to stop being so lazy and to get some things done. thank you everything this year, i've never been so happy with my partner before. and i'm glad i fought to be with you. you are truly a heaven's sent.

XMAS/ NEWYR

kinda too late to post this but wtv, i'm still gonna. hahah this was my very.. mundane christmas in a few photos and my new year is even fewer photos because i suddenly got conjunctivitis and i couldn't even open my eye.. further more take pictures with the harsh flash? no thanks.

my new year wasn't as exciting as i thought it would be because of my sudden eye problem. which totally ruined my mood and night. i had to change into my glasses cause i couldn't tolerate the pain anymore :( so.. i guess here are the photos BEFORE i took out my lenses.

and my new favourite pair of shoes... hehe. which i hated the first time i saw it. but after looking at it for SOOOOOO long, i found it weirdly attractive and decided to just fuck it and get it. and i have absolutely no regrets. hiakhiakhiak. plus its so much more comfortable than i thought it would be!

and the night before new year's eve, we caught The Darkest Hour. hahaha i thought the movie was pretty interesting. like the idea was good. but it wasn't THAT exciting and the ending was pretty sucky. its the same old "zombie apocalypse" story line? yeappp, ballringgg

anddddd, new year's eve itself. decked out in my favourite floral prints which i haven't worn in awhile. this is actually my favourite romper and i like it too much to wear it. HAHA. so i decided to just wear it for new year since it was a pretty important event? LOL

and maybe a few instagram photos of what me and M has been up to during boring midnights!

we were baking chocolate muffins and came across this odd egg.. we didn't cook it or anything! when we cracked it, it was already like this. and M was freaking out and kept insisting that it was like about to hatch and there was a chick in it..... -_- WHICH IS DAMN IMPOSSIBLE?? cus there is no living thing visible in that yolk-ish thingy. LOL

he accompanied me to collect stocks as well. and, i bought myself a pair of shoes that i've been lusting over since LAST YEAR (which is not rly a big deal cus it was just 3 days ago). but seriously, i've been trying to get hold of this pair of shoes for months cus it kept going out of stock. but its mine now... FINALLY.

and some new year fireworks!! its a little blur but this is the clearest i got :(

and the night after new year. me and M spent the last night together at my house before his school reopened :( we stuffed ourselves with caviar prawns and biscuits.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!! its 2012 already! which means a new year and a new start, a second chance to do the things 2011 didn't give you the time to do! its always important to kickstart a year nicely! to me at least it is? hahaha, mine started off so horribly last year i just couldn't wait for it to end. but since it ended off so nicely, hopefully the start of a new year will go smoothly for me. and i hope it goes smoothly for the rest of you!! good luck with your new year resolutions! i'm already working on mine! hehehehehe.

LAST DAY

hello all, since its the last day of the year, i've decided to do a post on how my life went within this 365 days. never, NEVER have i had any years as hectic as this. this year has shown me the TRUE TRUE TRUE meaning of sadness. i've never been so close to death in my while 17 years of living except for this year.

at the start of 2011, my life was going completely downhill. and this so called "phase" lasted as long as i could remember. bad break up, thought i caught hold of happiness, false alarm, heart break all over again. i thought confining myself within the four walls of my room would help. but it just got worst. haha i was a giant mess. and i won't go into detail here. cus i bet all you readers would change your impression of me!

so yeap, to cut to the chase. i decided to open up to people i never thought i'd end up with. such as M. hehe, i'm so thankful to god that thought my year started off like shit, its ending pretty nicely with the company of my luvvv~~~

and not forgetting my lovely friends, Shanice Ang, Emmeline Sng and Mae Tan. staying by my side though thick and thin. even though now we're so distant and no longer meet up. i'm pretty sure our bond hasn't really changed that much.. i hope? hahaha but i do miss the days we would be so impulsive and rational with our actions. (hehe i hope you girls know what i mean...) but i sure had a ton of fun and i dearly miss the 3 of you and all the funny and good times we've shared. 

i really miss u 3.. i hope we can all set aside one day to catch up again :( love you girls.

so yea... onto the next one! the highlight of my year, my smelly angel. who is currently lying down behind me, ending each sneeze with an "oyea~" hahahaha. i've never had a relationship like this before.. it started off too weird. never even planned to end up like this. hehe, i don't really want to elaborate tho. but whatever it is, i'm glad this happened. and i have absolutely no regrets working so hard to get to where we are now.
