MAE'S BDAY

since i'm rly trying to keep my blog alive even tho i'm packed with assignments. i'll do a quick one today. cus i'm rly lagging farrrrr behind. hahaha here are some visuals from mae's bday which was like.. 2 months ago :S

18? FINALLY!!! prt. 3

I'M BACK!! (i was caught up with very very important exams..) and finally finishing up the posts on my birthday celebration. i know i sound so dramatic celebrating my birthday four times.. but it wasn't up to me :( hahahaha

okay, so this one will be on the actual day itself. and what my boyfriend did to make it the most perfect birthday i could ever get. to be honest, i've never been surprised on my brithday before. EVER. okay maybe once last year! but other than that, i like to ruin my own surprises by organizing everything myself LOL. i'm very very anal about in dependency and will rely on no one. but since i more or less knew my boyf was gonna do somehting for me on my birthday. i just let him do the plans :3

if you wanna know how sweet my birthday went, you HAVE TO READ THE DETAILS.

so the night before after it struck 12AM, my boyfriend told me this upfront "now12 ah.. don't expect any surprises now" LOL. and i was like "okay man, don't worry. i'm not expecting the world" but he tried to drag the night till late so i would wake up late the next day. but, i rly can't wake up anytime pass 11AM. its just a good/ bad habit of mine. hahaha

so he woke up at 1PM, and i was looking for bags online and was getting quite stress cus the one i wanted was oos. so my boyfriend got up from bed, switched on the comp (as usual) then came back to bed (UNUSUAL). but i was stressing over my bag so i didn't rly bother so much. he waited for me to get out of bed just to see this.

wah.. i was so touched lor. some kind of innovative way to wish me happy birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and the rose!! i asked him how did he managed to sneak it into the room without me noticing. he replied this "oh, you weren't wearing your glasses, so i knew u wouldn't be able to see." and i was like.... "thanks.." hahahahah yes, i'm as blind as a bat without my glasses.

so i went to wash up, and this was something i already expected. he cooked me my favourite kind of breakfast!!

scrambled eggs with ham, raw ham, bacon and french toast. he sure knows me well. hahaha

we chilled for the rest of the day since there were no other activities to do besides dinner. so when we got into the car. i wanted to see if my hair was alright. so i pulled down the sun shade in the front seat. and this whole bunch of red-i-don't-know what just fell on me. and I WAS DAMN SHOCKED AND SCARED. i thought what man?! it was actually... ROSE PETALS!!

and hidden between the rose petals, was a letter!!

and then my boyfriend asked me to gues what my gift was. but it was obvious because the card was from chanel.. hahahah. and before that he kept insisting that we wanted me to go down to the boutique to choose the design i want and like!

so i already knew what the gift was. but i stil didn't know where it was. so he asked me to check if there were parking coupons... and i actually fell for it. hahaha and then.. FWA~~

the box was so pretty. it had a flower on it! then we reached our destination for our dinner. we settled for something simple! and we ate at The Garden Slug.

and as usual, i had the steak! and my boyfriend had the burger. they were. so-so. my bf's one was nicer. and mine was kinda not nice. haha but we had dessert! and it was nice!!

it was gelator ice cream with walnuts, hot banana slices and NUTELLA.. the combi was really good. wah, i wished i had some now!

so, it was quite late by then, so we went home. and even tho it was really simple. i felt like it was really sincere and perfect. i loved every bit of it. and that my boyfriend really worked very hard for this surprise and stressing over what gift to get me. even tho i kinda ruined my own surprise again by accidentally finding out... hahahaha

thank you for everything b. you're more than i could ever ask for. i love you!!

18? FINALLY!!! prt. 2

SO FINALLY, i found some time to do up the post on my 18th birthday, part 2. even tho i kind ahave some time right now. i'm still "rushing".. omg. because i've got a dental appointment at 3pm!! and this time, i REAAAALLLYYYY gonna remove my braces!! once and for all, after getting cheated by my dentist twice. urghh..

okay, quickly quickly moving on. i've gotta get this up asap because people have been asking me to upload the photos!! so yup yup! if you guys didn't know already, i celebrated my birthday at Amara Sanctuary Resorts Sentosa! i booked a courtyard suite, which included my own private jaccuzi and of course, a mini little courtyard!! and i booked it for $500 thru agoda.com. its much more expensive to book straight from the web if i'm not wrong!! so please don't ask on my formspring alr!!

and when we reached, we waited at the lobby for a buggy to transport us to our room, but it was really unfortunate that that day, some rich person was getting married there.. so we had to WALK to our room with all our stuff. grrr... but we needed to make two trips because there was so many things!! and this bellboy was nice enough to get us a buggy asap!!

so after we got everything we quickly settled down in our room! btw, i know that big red plastic bag is very unsightly.. but i was too excited to even notice it. only when i was editing my pictures today, then i saw it. LOL

the room is really nice, and private of course. but quite ulu at night :\ because its like in the jungle.. and infront of my room was a bomb shelter from the war last time?!

trying our best to make my money's worth. we went to use the sky pool as well. as i saw on the website that its really pretty. and true enough it was!! PLUS, when we arrived, the sun was just about to set! perfect!! ANDDDD, there wasn't anyone... PERFECT X2!!!

after our quick dip, we all washed up and dressed a little more proper! my theme was actually black/ white with a tinge of neon. but obviously, some people just don't really care. grr... 

and the pinata my boyfriend bought for me because i've always wanted one for my birthday!

i also got this from giant, because halloween is just around the corner. they were selling all those weird stuff. and this was supposedly "blood". but i cut a tiny hole and added some alcohol in it!! and it tasted quite nice with the sweet!

and many many kisses for the birthday girl :3

and then of course drinking games. which made me a little drunk... hahaha (obviously its because everyone keeps aiming me)

yes.. i was a little drunk by 2am ish. but it was the good kinda of drunk. not the sort where i really wanna puke and die. but the happy kind of drunk! the perfect drunk hahaha. and i was really really tired by the end of the night. and despite the big comfortable bed, I DID NOT SLEEP A WINK.. mainly because i felt very paranoid about the fact that i was staying in a jungle for the night. not to mention, infront of a bomb shelter from the japanese war...........

okay, my verdict on amara. i love the place. its really private and spacious. but i really would prefer staying in a building for the night. rather than a jungle. when i woke up, i was like slightly hung over and extremely tired. but it was worth it tho!! but i wouldn't wanna stay there overnight again LOL.

this was probably the best birthday i've ever celebrated!!!! so happy and merry. hehehe. and i really wanted to blog about my ACTUAL birth date, which i celebrated with my boyfriend only. but this post is too image heavy already!! so maybe.. a part three!! :D
