when we arrived at the hotel, we were really stunned by the place. it was by far the nicest hotel i've ever been in so far. it's spacious and so well furnished! we walked outside and saw a really huge area just for the jacuzzi. because i honestly expected like, just a jacuzzi, a chair and minimal walking area. but to my surprise, i think the area could fit at least 20-30 people. not even exaggerating. i could do cart wheels everywhere and not bang into the wall.

so after we settled down, we still had some time to kill. so we decided to get a couple massage at the hotel's spa! it's an add-n of $128+ per couple!

so after an hour of goodness (it was rly good btw, i fell asleep. and i dont usually like massages), we got back and prepared for our in-room dining :)

we spent the rest of the night enjoying the rest of the facilities like the jacuzzi and everything! it was a night very well spent indeed! and it rly is the perfect valentine's gift. a really nice short and sweet getaway!

WANDERLUST

hello guys! its been awhile, and this time i'm really not lying when i say i'm busy. i just came back from malaysia after a last minute decision to visit my great grandma who recently got hospitalized. and she's gonna be 107 years old. so it was more important than bai nianing! but its okay! how was your CNY guys! 

so anyway, i'll be blogging about WANDERLUST today!! hahaha finally right? finally a photo post!! me and my boyfriend went on a staycation at wanderlust hotel. and we decided to use this staycation as a little anniversary celebration!! but it was a really short stay and we didn't manage to do much! 

our room was the space themed room, in black and grey. we requested for the red and black one tho... but nvm. at least we got one of the nicer rooms!

super cute book that is given to you when you check it! it has a list of places to eat or shop nearby. really useful to tourist. btu me and my bf are sgpreans. so.. we basically know how to get anywhere. hahaha i just really liked the idea of this whole book!

so when we arrived, we took a shower and changed to head out to bugis! since it was a nearby and walkable distance. intended to shop. but there was really nothing to buy, and it was a weekend. so it was super crowded. we just settled with gelato at a corner.

when we came back we attempted to get into the jacuzzi

but it was too cold :( so we gave up and went to newton for dinner! because we were watching tv and Jamie Chua was advertising singapore's hot spots. and my bf rly felt like having stingray

then we went back, (left my $300 retainers there) and went back to have a goooood rest! the next day we woke up early just to try the breakfast. which i honestly liked! very angmoh. i love it

and thats the end of my super short staycation :( i enjoyed it tho. i got to spend some quality time with my bf talking about life and away from work!!! can't wait for my hongkong trip already. hehehe until next time!!!
