IP5 MISSION: VIETNAM

hello guys! i apologize for the loooong hiatus. but i was away on holiday with my family. and my schedule is jammed pack. and i do apologize to certain blogshops and sponsors who are still waiting for their adverts to be up. i will TRY MY BEST to do them up by weds!! i'm really sorry i can't do them any sooner!! i've also got my new collection to launch... omg... D':

i wished i could split myself into two. even as of now, i'm rushing to get this post up because i've got two appointments in a row later on. oh dear... so anyway, from the post title, it might not be clear. but i went to Vietnam with my camera. but did not take it out once. so i decided to the make this trip my iphone 5 mission. all photos below are taken by my iphone 5. the clarity is insane.. even the front camera. have a look for yourself

so what do you think of the quality so far? good right?! LOL so anyway, after we touched down. we had "tea" at a japanese cafe behind our hotel!

full breakfast set for only $6. where to find in singapore..... including a drink and yogurt summore!! and so day 2, we did nothing but walked aimlessly around our area. had good food, a $30 facial and a $6 pedicure.

and by day 2, i was really really bored. because i prefer countries with shopping + relaxation. and ho chi minh was just pure relaxing.. and i gave in to joining a tour to make time pass faster. hahaha so here's me and my parents posing for an obligatory tourist shot. bwahahaha

we went to mekong delta for the first tour. it was just mainly to see how the vietnamese lived in rural areas! and all we did was like.. sit on many many boats and moved from island to island. LOL. we went to an island called unicorn island??? and the name is totally irrelevant to the island!!! they don't even have horses?!

me and my $2.40 cap!! cus the sun was like freaking blazing hot. i couldn't take it.. and it was only $2.40, plus it was camo prints.. very trendy ma right.. hahahaha

my dad proudly holding on to a honey comb with 1000000 bees on it... omg.. see also my hair stand. i actually wanted to hold it because we were told that we could taste the fresh honey. but i didn't notice the bees. omg.. so sick.. my dad even conveniently stuffed his finger in between the bees to get some honey to try. YUCKS!!!!

our honey shots. bwahaha

walking to our sampan to go to another island!!

so when we reached our destination, we saw how they manufacture their coconut candies! which i rly didn't like... i don't rly like coconut flavors in general.

and this poor guy... waiting to die and be EATEN.. yes, they serve like squirrel meat there. so gross...

and for dinner, we ate something a little nicer!

and day 4, we went on tour again. to cu chi tunnel. its a historic site, where they lived during the war. in tunnels!!! for 15 years!!!!! damn pro. they even build their own traps cus they weren't rich enough to buy proper weapons!

this was one of the entrances into the tunnel. and look how tiny it is! the guide demonstrated on how they went in. so tiny!!! imagine being in the tunnel. there's like 3 levels! total 18km deep. that shit cray.... all dug by hand

and one of their traps. so violent

and after that, we went to the shooting range. and i think this was the highlight of my trip!! i fired real bullets with an ak47! i honestly expected the recoil to me crazy. but it was fine! only thing was that it was damn freaking loud. i was about to go deaf. i always see in movies that they wear the headphones. and i rly thought it would block out alot of the sound. but the ear phones are like freaking holo?!!? still damn loud.
]

the feeling of firing a gun is quite shiok! tho the first time i pulled the trigger i was damn scared. after i fired one round i literally went "ahhhhhhh!!!" IDK WHY. but natural reaction. LOL after that we went to chill and there was this group of chicks... damn cute omg

and then.. the last day. we had tea before taking off. and i had a really pretty cupcake. yummy

and the over view of vietnam! this photo really doesn't do justice. but it real life it looked so pretty. it was so colourful!

and now i'm back, and burdened with 1001 things to do. downed one activity for this week yesterday with shanice! a really fun shoot early early in the morning :)

absolutely excited to see the rest of the pictures and video!! watch this space for updates on who we shot for!!!
