Hey girls! It's been awhile since I’ve blogged about anything, but I thought I would share my thoughts and my experience on my recent trip to Strip! If you’re not sure what it is, they are one of the largest hair removal salon in Singapore and I was visting them to try their new limited edition waxes!
I’ve only waxed once at another parlor previously before Strip, and I was pretty skeptical about their procedure because I wasn’t sure how painful it would be or what their techniques are.
Fortunately, when I arrived, I was given a Strip Brazilian guidebook that explains everything. From their hygiene precautions, techniques, mantra etc! I’ve taken photos of the pages to clear your doubts if you’re planning on visiting!
If you have any concerns, fret not! Feel free to clear your doubts with Strip’s customer relationship officers or therapists and they’ll tell you what you need to know!
At Strip, they believe that Hygiene, Speed and Quality matters the most!
Strip will never ever use the same pair of gloves on more than one customer. They also do not practice double-dippng. Hygiene, check!

If you’re having second doubts, feel free to ring their rescue hotline! Strip also provides bach flower essence, which they drip under your tongue to help calm your nerves, and when you’re calm, the procedure will hurt much less!! Because your muscles are relaxed!

Also, at Strip, there is nothing to be shy or awkward about! You’re in hands of a professional, there’s no need to be worried about her judging you at all!
After a quick brief on what’s about to happen, they brought me into my private room to undress and prepare for the Brazilian waxing treatment. You’ll be given wet wipes to clean yourself up and a towel to cover yourself while waiting!

Their mantras hung up on their walls to remind you to relax and not to worry!
I decided to try the bach flower essence to calm my nerves, even tho my tolerance for pain is extremely high, so I can review it for you guys! Hahaha, it actually tastes like… alcohol? With a very mild fruity taste!
And before I knew it, I was almost done with it already! It was really really fast, definitely less than 30mins and the pain was super bearable. I would rate the pain at about 5/10? Usually for me I feel like a 7 or even a 10 sometimes… especially if I accidentally go for waxing before my period. Because our bodies get weaker pre-period, and the pain sometimes is really… unbearable LOL.
I was genuinely surprised that Strip did it so quickly and professionally, it really didn’t even hurt as much as I remembered it to be!
