hi all! i'm back again after a two week hiatus. i've been busy with school.. and i really barely have time for myself now. since i've to juggle between so many things. and i'm one who doesn't like to sleep late on weekdays. so as requested for quite awhile, and after dragging for a long time... i've decided to finally upload my no mirror challenge! yes it was taken quite awhile back. maybe a month or so? (obviously..) cus my hair is still black and green and long... hahaha

hey guys, feels like just yesterday that i was doing this post. okay i'm exaggerating. maybe felt like a month ago? how quick time seems to pass. and a new chapter beginning to open. 2013 is arriving so quickly i can't hardly wrap my head around it. omg... the more i think about it, the more i feel like.. WHAT?!
so anyway, i'm making it a point to do a blog post at the end of every year. just a summary of what has happened. but i must say, 2012 has been great for me. probably the greatest year i've ever had so far. i think the number of times i cried cus i was feeling sad was less than 10. and that must be a record... so anyway, i've also prepared a short vlog at the end of the video! hope you guys like this post :3
so... lets see... Jan 2012, i remember clearly that i started it off with my boyfriend... hehe watching the fireworks by marina bay. and recently i just told him something funny. because at that point of time, we weren't together yet, when the fireworks started booming and all. i really really thought he was gonna ask me to be his girlfriend. LOL and after the fireworks finished and he didn't ask me, i was damn sad. LOLLLLLL HAHAHAHAHA. expect too much. but anyway, yeap. thats how my year started
and then.. the highlight of my year which i remember damn clearly too. we celebrated his birthday and then he asked me to be his girlfriend. and then i tweeted "this is the best year ever". and his friend replied "but its only the beginning." BUT TRUE ENOUGH, THIS WAS THE BEST YEAR EVER!!!!!
and then followed by the best valentines day i've ever had. because all my past valentines were all like.. screwed up dates. always ended up unhappy or in tears. but thank you b for everything :*
this year i also went overseas on my own for the first time. and of course with my boyfriend :)
enough of my boyfriend for now! this year TLX also became more established. and this is where all my readers/ supporters/ shoppers come in. i just wanna thank you all for helping me live a better life this year. without you guys, i wouldn't have been able to do so many things.

and yes i know.. i've neglected my friends alot this year. but lucky for me, my boyfriend goes to where my best friend stays every week and i get to hang out with her at her place. and we studied together, we also talked alot. we also did the best friend tag!
and speaking of tags, i also did the make up tag with my boyfriend which everyone liked. because... he.. destroyed my blusher while filming.. and my reaction was pretty priceless. i still laugh at my face when i watch that part of the video. heh (it happened at 05:57 mins btw)
also another highlight of this year was that i turned 18!!!!!! LIKE FINALLY OKAY????? after so many years of waiting. i'm finally a legal shit
since this year was so peaceful, i really have nothing much to talk about. but i've got a =confessions to make, and i'm apologizing for all of this

its a little embarrassing... but i hope u guys like it... LOL
hell guyz!!! its christmas and i can finally do a proper post + a short video for you guys!! so this weekend before christmas, we went out to do some last minute shopping! and since i had my camera.. we might as well take more pics before we embarked on our super rushed journey to finding gifts.. hence no pics of us out of the car!! hahaha
and... at night, we were invited by my parents for a christmas dinner at The Star? we dined at this bistro called Morganfield's. i think their specialty is the ribs. but i do not eat ribs AT ALL.. so i had some beef and salad and chilli cheese fries instead. which were quite yummers. their sauteed mushrooms are good too!!

and the salad which was really good.. yummy yummy. feel like eating it nao
and the crazy christmas platter. its like 3 ribs, lined with french fries, mash potatoes, pilaf rice, sausages and corn.. ho mai.. and on top of that you get two extra sides. LOL gigantic portion i tell ya. and the sides can be changed to a few other options. but i don't remember!
and overall.. the platter.. i would rate it a 6/10? mainly because i don't know how to appreciate ribs, and the pilaf rice tastes like chicken rice, and the mash potato was just damn weird. the corn was so soggy... but the sausages tasted ok. just a little bit oily. and the fries were fine (ya, how can fries go wrong). but maybe if you LOVE ribs, you could go try it out? cus my family said it was nice!
it also comes with a dessert platter!! which was really good!!
chocolate brownie, which was really really good. strawberry ice cream, which tasted more like a sorbet. but i HATE strawberry ice cream. so... don't ask me. hahaha my whole family loved it tho. and then bread pudding which was interesting! but extremely sweet. and then vanilla ice cream which was fine, and a fruit cake. which i didn't bother taking a bite out of cus i was just eating the brownie. LOL
i would rate the food maybe a 6/10, but the ambience was nice and i really liked the fact that they were playing extremely old cartoons in the bistro, like.. popeye the sailor man, wild e. coyote and roadrunner. PLUS, since its christmas now. they had caroling in the bistro and it was really nice!!! totally builded up my christmas spirit!!

hello guys! i decided to make a more meaningful vlog today, instead of stupid mindless ones. so... i needed inspiration on vlog ideas a few days ago and i actually went to google like "vlog ideas" LOL. and this topic on "animal rescue" popped up. so i decided to talk about my pet dog, ginger! she appears on my instagram once in awhile but those are just snap shots. so i decided to talk about her!
she was adopted from SPCA, and in the video below, i'll talk about the cons of adopting a dog from SPCA instead of buying an expensive pedigree dog :3
Ginger doesn't really like me taking photos of her. but she was.. a little bit more cooperative with me today! so yay! i managed to get this video done in one try! hope you like it! and take into consideration about what i mentioned about these poor abandoned dogs at the animal shelter :)
hello guys!! so as promised, a vlog for today. and it didn't really turn out as "funny" as i expected! but maybe to you guys it may be entertaining. so i'm just gonna upload it.
so in my post title, it says "PREDICTED MUCH?" which basically means in this video, i predict my sister's reaction to my birthday gift to her and see if what i predicted was right! i explained the whole thing in the video. but some people don't like to read/ listen. so i did both for the sake of convenience.

hey guys!! so after many requests.. and much convincing, i managed to get my boyfriend to do the "boyfriend does my make up" tag. and honestly.. i didn't expect him to be so lousy cause my make up pouch is really straight forward. like foundation > brows > blush > eyes > highlighting. and i always get this done within 10 minutes. but he took AN HOUR.. and i really tried my best to trim the video to its shortest. but 23 mins was the best i could do. hahahaha
he got stuck at the eyes for so long.. and i promise you, if you watch the full video, without skipping. it'll make you laugh. the eyes.. oh my.. i've watched other youtube videos on the bf tag, and they always mess up badly when its time to do the eyes. hahHAHAHh.. BOYS.. Y_U_SO_LOUSY!!!
but i must credit my boyfriend for putting in his utmost efforts!! i could tell he really tried his best to make me look good instead of messing up my face on purpose. he even told me that he would try to make me look good and not take it as a joke. but seems like it didn't go according to plan.. hahahah

that day, we went for the harry potter exhibition and it was.. not bad? a little bit too small. but i find it pretty worth the money! i'm a fan of harry potter and everything was.. pretty magical? hahaha you know that feeling when you step into disney land then they have all that back ground music? if you get what i mean... so yeap! here's how we started off our day, we decided to have pizza hut for lunch since pizza is like our "love" food.

my harry potter goodies! they had an awesome bunch of stuff to buy but most of them were so costly!! i was so tempted to get hermoine's time turner. but it was a hefty $120? i ALMOST got it.. but my boyfriend insisted that i shouldn't waste such money. oh wells :(
moving on to the Andy Warhol exhibition which was... omg.. damn boring. the place was ultra quiet as well. me and my boyfriend started playing around and see who could walk softer LOL. cus it was so boring omg.

and last night (saturday) i had nothing better to do. so i decided to do a vlog of myself trying out the harry potter jelly beans. if you guys don't know what it is. they're called "Bertie Botts EVERY FLAVOUR bean." these were really in the movie and i decided to get a box to just try.
