hell guyz!!! its christmas and i can finally do a proper post + a short video for you guys!! so this weekend before christmas, we went out to do some last minute shopping! and since i had my camera.. we might as well take more pics before we embarked on our super rushed journey to finding gifts.. hence no pics of us out of the car!! hahaha
and... at night, we were invited by my parents for a christmas dinner at The Star? we dined at this bistro called Morganfield's. i think their specialty is the ribs. but i do not eat ribs AT ALL.. so i had some beef and salad and chilli cheese fries instead. which were quite yummers. their sauteed mushrooms are good too!!

and the salad which was really good.. yummy yummy. feel like eating it nao
and the crazy christmas platter. its like 3 ribs, lined with french fries, mash potatoes, pilaf rice, sausages and corn.. ho mai.. and on top of that you get two extra sides. LOL gigantic portion i tell ya. and the sides can be changed to a few other options. but i don't remember!
and overall.. the platter.. i would rate it a 6/10? mainly because i don't know how to appreciate ribs, and the pilaf rice tastes like chicken rice, and the mash potato was just damn weird. the corn was so soggy... but the sausages tasted ok. just a little bit oily. and the fries were fine (ya, how can fries go wrong). but maybe if you LOVE ribs, you could go try it out? cus my family said it was nice!
it also comes with a dessert platter!! which was really good!!
chocolate brownie, which was really really good. strawberry ice cream, which tasted more like a sorbet. but i HATE strawberry ice cream. so... don't ask me. hahaha my whole family loved it tho. and then bread pudding which was interesting! but extremely sweet. and then vanilla ice cream which was fine, and a fruit cake. which i didn't bother taking a bite out of cus i was just eating the brownie. LOL
i would rate the food maybe a 6/10, but the ambience was nice and i really liked the fact that they were playing extremely old cartoons in the bistro, like.. popeye the sailor man, wild e. coyote and roadrunner. PLUS, since its christmas now. they had caroling in the bistro and it was really nice!!! totally builded up my christmas spirit!!
