hai.. i know i know.. mother's day was like.. freaaaaking long ago. but better late than never!! so, we had dinner at White Rabbit. and it was my first time there. so i was pretty excited to try the food! i'll comment and rate the food in between pictures :)

for starters we had salad and foie gras. the salad was.. so-so. the foie gras was great. but i preferred the pan-fried one, which is the darker colour. the other one is abit too much for me. LOL
salad.. too normal to rate. it's just salad
foie gras: 8/10
and as usual, i ordered the steak. i think i'm on like some sub conscious mission to try ALL the steaks in singapore. hahaha. but this is the striploin. i had requested to change my salad sides to fries.
i was super disappointed with the steak. when it was served, my plate was hot but my steak was cold. AND DRY. when we had requested for a change, the manager came to talk to us and explain to us why its cold. saying that "oh medium rare steak is always cold." and honestly. his explanation was pure rubbish. do you really think that i've never eaten a steak in my life? what excuse is that.. if he just took it back and apologized, i wouldn't have given the steak such a bad review!!!
so when we had it changed. my steak was no longer a medium rare. cus they had to recook to it make it hot again. so disappointing.
steak: 4/10!!!!
my dad's cod, which i didn't get to try.. so... onto the next one!!
our sides.. which i can't rmb their names. LOL but i think its mushrooms and mash potato. they were both pretty dope. so imma give them both a 9/10!!
and desserts. first was the chocolate molten cake with passion fruit ice cream. which i really didn't like. but i guess its preference, cus my family liked it. and just like how i hate strawberry ice cream too. but the molten cake was good! so maybe.. without being biased to the ice cream. maybe.. 8/10?
and next, CREME BRULEEEEEE, me like me like. nothing much to be said about creme brulee. the custard was so soft and the top was nicely burnt. yum yum. 10/10!!!!

so i guess that sums up my mother's day celebration and my experience at White Rabbit! but for an overall rating... i think i would give it a 6/10. because the ambience was good. and the desserts were nice. but other than that.. i wouldn't really go again. cus the menu is pretty limited. i can even list out all their main courses for you now. LOL thats how few there were.
